Overview

The Corvette Z06 is a street-legal track car co-developed with the GT3.R race car. It has a 670 hp flat-plane crank V8, which Chevrolet calls the most powerful naturally aspirated V8 in a production car. It is offered as a Coupe or a Convertible.

Pros

  • 670 hp naturally aspirated flat-plane crank V8
  • Quoted 0–100 km/h in 2.6 seconds
  • Race-derived, co-developed with the GT3.R
  • 10 standard airbags
  • Coupe or Convertible, with a luxurious 3LZ trim

Cons

  • Very high starting price in the UAE (from AED 775,000)
  • Base infotainment is a 7-inch screen; the larger displays need the 3LZ trim
  • Dealer notes that some standard features may be missing due to supply shortages
  • Official page gives no fuel economy, dimensions or warranty details

SWOT

Strengths

  • Most powerful naturally aspirated V8 in a production car, per Chevrolet
  • Track-derived engineering with road-legal usability
  • Choice of Coupe and Convertible bodies

Weaknesses

  • High purchase price
  • Fuel economy and warranty not published on the page
  • Standard screen is small compared with the 3LZ setup

Opportunities

  • Confirm the specification, features and any offers with the dealer
  • 3LZ trim adds the full tech and luxury package, including the Performance Data Recorder

Threats

  • Supply shortages may affect standard features and options
  • Limited UAE showroom allocation for a low-volume model
