Our verdict

For most buyers, the SEAL is the smarter choice. Even the top Performance trim (AED 169,900) offers 523 HP, 0–100 km/h in 3.8 s and 520 km WLTP range. That is slightly more power and a slightly quicker time than the HAN, for about AED 62,000 less than the HAN's AED 231,900. The Design and Premium trims, from AED 149,900, are RWD with 308 HP and up to 570 km of range. The SEAL also lists a 400 L boot, 150 kW DC charging and a long tech list. The HAN suits those who want a more luxurious cabin, with Nappa leather, electric rear seats and a launch offer that includes a year of free charging. However, it comes in a single trim, quotes two different range figures (565 and 521 km) and has no published dimensions. Neither car's warranty is published, so check with the dealer. Our pick: the SEAL.
